Southern Shoreline on Izu Oshima Island
Unfortunately, the road around the island was closed just beyond this point. The shoreline on the southern part of the island was rocky headwalls such as this. There was a woman in the water here collecting seaweed from the rocks. We wondered if it was part of our dinner that day or breakfast the next morning.
