It was a beautiful day when we made the drive to Pisa this week. I love the contrast of the blues and greens of sky and grass with the grey and white of the buildings. This is the Duomo, the cathedral on the Campo with the famous leaning tower.
The Camposanto in Pisa. We didn't have time to go in this building, but I liked the rhythm of the facade.
Details of the Baptistry. This is my favorite building on the Campo, we spent a fair amount of time walking around it and inside. We stayed long enough to hear the custodian sing and the incredible acoustics.
OK, I know, you've seen this. I could not help myself... the triumvirate: Baptistry, Duomo, and Tower of Pisa.
